Klaine soulmate AU: At the age 16, your soulmate’s name appears on your wrist. Kurt Hummel’s not an exception, but when Blaine Anderson’s name - Glee Club member, Cheerio captain, “everybody-loves-me” Blaine Anderson - appears on his hand, he keeps it a secret.
When a few months later Blaine also gets his soulmate’s name, he’s surprised to find out that Kurt - his soulmate - had his name on him for a while now. Blaine doesn’t know why Kurt kept it a secret, especially now, that he started to feel something for the boy he didn’t feel before.
“Kurt!”Kurt turns, seeing Blaine jog up to catch up to him in the hallway, his Cheerio bag bumping against his hip as he moves. His heart beats a little faster and he knows this is probably the moment that they confront this - thing. Blaine’s 16th birthday was over a week ago, after all. He knew.
“I need to talk to you,” says Blaine. “About - about how you’re apparently my soulmate and haven’t told me for the last three months?” He says and he actually sounds more upset than angry.
“I just -” Kurt pauses and looks around. The hall his empty, but it’s something to do. “I didn’t think you’d…we don’t talk all that often. We’re just in Glee club together. And you’re - you’re you.” Blaine raises his eyebrow and Kurt lets out a frustrated sigh. “You’re Blaine Anderson. Cheerio Captain and male lead in Glee club. You’re popular and I’m just…me.” Kurt looks down, away from Blaine’s perfect hazel eyes.
Then he feels a light brush and a hand is suddenly in his. It’s the hand that holds Blaine’s name on the wrist and suddenly Kurt feels like his whole body is on fire at the touch of his soulmate.
“Hey,” says Blaine softly. “That’s exactly why we’re soulmates. You’re you, and I’m me, and that’s supposed to be enough. You’re enough for me, Kurt,” he says and his voice is so tender and sure that it makes Kurt want to cry. “And I know that I’ve never given us much thought before, but ever since your name appeared on my wrist - I know there is something between us now. It’s something more powerful than anything in this world.”
“You really…think so?” asks Kurt.
“Yes,” says Blaine and his grip on Kurt’s hand tightens. “You’re my soulmate, Kurt. I want to make you happy and most of all, I want to be with you - however you want me.”
“I - I want to be with you too,” says Kurt. “Make you happy.”
Blaine gives him a small smile. “Good. Because this says that you’re stuck with me.” And he offers up his wrist and seeing his name, actually written there, gives Kurt a thrill.
“I couldn’t ask for a better person to be stuck with,” says Kurt shyly.
